Vendors run late, timelines compress, outdoor ceremonies pivot, and no two reception crowds respond the same way. What looks smooth from the guest's perspective usually required a series of small adjustments behind the scenes.

Puget Sounds featuring DJ Kelli handles the planning side through Dale and the day-of execution through DJ Kelli. Couples have one clear point of contact during planning and one reliable person managing everything at the venue.

PLANNING
PROCESS

Dale handles all pre-event communication, from the first inquiry through the final planning call. Couples are encouraged to schedule as many check-ins as they need. Nothing is handed off at the last minute.

Music planning is done through the Vibo app. Couples can build playlists, flag must-play and do-not-play songs, add notes for specific moments, and invite guests to suggest songs for the dance floor. By the time the event arrives, DJ Kelli knows the music preferences, the timeline, the vendor contacts, and any logistical details that affect how the night runs.

EVENT COORDINATION
& MC SERVICES

EVENT COORDINATION

DJ Kelli works alongside the couple's planner or coordinator when one is present, and handles the coordination role independently when one is not. The job is the same either way: keep vendors aligned, maintain timeline awareness, and make sure guests know where to be and when.

Weddings have a lot of moving parts that converge in a short window. DJ Kelli has worked alongside caterers, photographers, videographers, venue managers, and live musicians enough times to know when to hold a transition, when to push forward, and when to quietly check in with whoever needs a cue.

MC SERVICES

Announcements at a wedding should be clear and direct without drawing attention to the person making them. DJ Kelli handles all MC duties — seating cues, grand entrance, first dance transitions, dinner service direction, speech introductions, cake cutting, and any other moments that need a voice on the microphone — with that in mind.

The mic is a coordination tool, not a performance. Guests should feel guided, not entertained at the couple's expense.

SOUND AND
MICROPHONES

Professional-grade speakers and wireless microphone systems are used at every event. Volume is managed relative to the room and the moment — quieter during cocktails and dinner, balanced during speeches, and appropriate for the dance floor without making conversation impossible near the edges.

Wireless handheld and lapel microphones are available for toasts, speeches, and any other moment where a guest needs to address the room. Signal reliability is not optional at a wedding.

CEREMONY
AUDIO

Ceremony audio is included as part of the service for weddings where DJ Kelli handles both ceremony and reception. This covers a wireless lapel microphone for the officiant, a handheld or second lapel for vows if needed, and processional and recessional music cued on precise timing.

Outdoor ceremonies in the Pacific Northwest come with specific challenges: wind, uneven terrain, remote power access, and varying distances between the ceremony space and where equipment can be staged. DJ Kelli has worked outdoor ceremonies at mountain venues, winery properties, and waterfront sites throughout the region and accounts for these variables during setup rather than discovering them mid-ceremony.

Audio clarity during vows matters more than almost anything else in the program. Equipment is tested and positioned before guests are seated.
